Matt Johnston, Owner
Matt started his first company at age of 17 showing his entrepreneurial sprit early in life. That first company grew into successful landscaping company with twenty-eight employees before being sold. In 2001, Matt began his journey into home construction and never looked back. Over the 19+ years projects have ranged in value from $250k to $3.5 million and sizes over 14,000 sq. ft. He has built and sold several different construction firms across multiple construction trades. During his journey Matt has built a vast network of resources and a strong understanding of efficient business practices that he continually uses at Johnston Homes as well as other business endeavors.
Ryan Hutcheson, Project Manager
Ryan has been a part of the construction industry literally his entire life. Growing up as the son of a lumber salesman, he would visit job sites often. Ryan is an Auburn University graduate. During college Ryan worked in the construction industry learning about the products he installed to later selling those same products. Over the course of 10 years he helped grow the company to become one of the Top Companies in the Atlanta area. New home construction has always been an aspiration of his making Johnston Homes the perfect fit for him. You will find Ryan meeting with current and future clients, preparing and managing project budgets and maintaining timelines and in the field overseeing the day to day of the construction process.
