Since that time Greg has honed his craft and has truly built homes that rival the artisans of our past.
Atlanta Custom Builder Relies on Quality Stair Systems from L.J. Smith
BOWERSTON, OHIO – For more than 20 years Gregory Amico has been making dreams come true for people in the Atlanta area. With the creation of each elegant house his company builds, families find their forever homes. And, in more than 100 of those homes, Amico has relied on custom stairways from L.J. Smith Stair Systems to complement his various styles and designs.
“I know the type of quality I’m going to get with a stair system from L.J. Smith,” says Amico, president of Southern Homes & Restoration Group, Inc. out of Alpharetta, Ga. “They always seem to have just the perfect stair system to enhance our custom homes. Time-after-time I can rely on them for superior quality products and service.”
Amico’s current project, Annandelle Farms in Milton, Ga., features 24 handcrafted farmhouse-style homes in a gated community. For the first two homes in the expansive development, Amico’s team determined that L.J. Smith stairways would enhance the properties.
Lot #10 in Annandelle Farms, which will sell for $1.2 million, features six bedrooms, six full bathrooms, custom cabinets, hardwood flooring and exposed beams, plus a premium salt water pool. Luxury finishes at every turn include an iron baluster system from L.J. Smith that connects the open stairwell terrace level to the second floor.
“This stairway is another example of us finding an L.J. Smith system that was ‘just right’ for a project,” says Amico, a third generation custom builder. “The variation of unique designer square style low sheen black iron balusters with wood handrails, treads and newels in red oak are sophisticated while complementing the farmhouse style of this home.”
Relying on his supplier, Midway Building Supply, Amico and his team are able to create one-of-a-kind stairway systems for all their custom homes. “No matter what style house interior we’ve created over the past two decades, we know that L.J. Smith has a stair system to help set our homes apart in the marketplace.”
